Top dressing
Topdressing is a grass surface management tool used to maintain a smooth surface and plays an important role in the control of the thatch. A layer of thatch is very damaging. Topdressing does not break down the thatch but dilutes the thatch layer, and integrates the concentrate of organic matter in the soil profile.
We use several models of top dresser.
We use "Turfco CR10" for large spaces; golf courses, soccer and football fields. We work with a "Meter matic" for tight spaces and the new sport fields. We use the "Dakota 220" Blender for large and tight spaces. It can mix two different elements: sand, earth or peat moss, for the specific amendments to certain sport fields.
